Constantine’s background includes a distinguished career in the planning and design of Senior Housing & Healthcare Facilities, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Educational and Cultural Facilities. He founded Tsomides Associates in 1980 and has guided its growth to one of the most respected design firms in the Northeast. Taki, as he is well known, attended Bowdoin College (B.A. arte, cum laude) followed by graduate studies in architecture at Princeton, Columbia (M.Arch) and Harvard (MDesS) Graduate Schools of Architecture and Design and studied under luminaries Louis Kahn, Edgar Kaufman, Jr., Mario Salvadori, James Marston Fitch, Gerhard Kallmann, Victor Christ-Janer, John Johansen, Rafael Moneo, William LeMessurier and Michael Hays amongst others and interned under Josep Luis Sert, Dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Design; William G. Perry & Robert C. Dean, Boston; and Bertrand Goldberg and John Macsai, renowned Chicago architects.  He is a graduate of Thornton Academy, Saco, ME and recipient of its Distinguished Alumni Award and a long standing member of the Boston Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects. He is a registered architect in the states of ME, NH, MA, RI, CT, and DE, and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board.
